As you all know the Planning Commission meeting for January 31 was cancelled at the last minute. We still do not have a date for the next meeting, but in all likelihood it will be sometime in April. As soon as we know you’ll know!!
We WILL need everyone to attend the meeting when it is rescheduled. Stay tuned!!! We will keep you all informed. Watch for emails and signs posted in the neighborhood.
History of the Susana Knolls HOA
A group of Knolls residents founded the SKHA in 1969. Read all about it on our website.
Katherine Road ‘walk’ Update
The Katherine Road walk with Supervisor Foy is to be scheduled after the Planning Commission Meeting and before the Board of Supervisors Meeting. More info to come.
Ventura County Sheriff's Office -
Senior Deputy Daniel Vanover
We heard from Deputy Vanover recently and he wanted the residents to be aware that the Sheriff’s office has responded to several calls for service along the Santa Susana Pass Road – specifically between Lilac Lane and the Santa Susana Park. The calls have been varied, but involved people that do not live in the area and were behaving suspiciously. One property on Rocky Road was burglarized once and then someone was on the property one other time.
So, the message here is to be vigilant and to report suspicious activity. In an emergency call 911. To report something suspicious call the non-emergency line at (805) 654-9511.
This is just a reminder to be aware and informed. Sheriff Vanover says that “There is no reason to worry, nothing horrible has happened and there are no increased crime trends. The Knolls has one of the lowest calls-for-service rates for any area the Sheriff's Office patrols. But I want to keep it that way so I need the help of the residents to point out things that don't seem right. We can then figure out if there is a crime or not.”
Sheriff Vanover plans to attend the next HOA meeting on April 2.

Help us keep the Knolls Informed
The HOA does not have contact info for the majority of the neighborhood. It would be helpful if you would talk to your neighbors about sending us their email address so we can add them to our neighborhood list. We keep the list private (really!) and do not share the email addresses with anyone. We also only send out information about the neighborhood – no spam. If anyone wants to join the list and receive this newsletter and other information about the neighborhood have them send an email to SusanaKnollsHoa@roadrunner.com
