The next HOA meeting will be the first Tuesday of December 2015, (12/8/15) at 7:00PM at the Depot (at Pass and Katherine Rds.)
Everyone should have received a notification of a proposed water rate increase. Brochures titled “Proposed Water Service Rates Increase” were mailed last week to customers of Waterworks District No. 8 with information regarding the proposed increase and instructions how to protest the increase. In the brochure is a form to fill out to protest the increase. If you want to protest the increase YOU HAVE TO SEND THE FORM IN. Contact your friends and neighbors. If enough people protest the increase it can be stopped. It’s up to YOU!
The public hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2015, in the City Council Chamber at 2929 Tapo Canyon Road. EVERYONE should make plans to attend. Here is a Link to the City website with info on the rate increase.
Recent news articles in Simi Valley report on 2 animal mutilations—a small dog (Pepper) in East Simi and a cat in mid Simi. Please be alert and report any suspicious activity to the authorities. A reward of $11,500 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Pepper’s killer. Here is an article with more information.
Inspired by the creative Knolls residents who dazzled our nights last year with their beautifully decorated homes our SKHA Board voted this year to award prizes for the Grandest and Greatest decorators! Our Grand Prize winner will receive $100 and the two Greatest Prize winners will each receive $50.
The decorators need to be finished by Saturday, December 19th. Judging will be done on Sunday, December 20th.
Please let your neighbors know about the Grandest and Greatest Competition, as some people may not receive our emails. If you see an amazing house email us and let us know the location. We don’t want to miss any of the houses when we are judging. Only exterior decorations will be judged. The competition is open to anyone that lives in the Knolls.
