Next HOA Meeting
The next HOA meeting will be the first Tuesday of December 2016 (12/6/16), at 7:00PM at the Depot (at Pass and Katherine Rds.)
Spooky Alert
If you haven’t driven past the BEST Halloween House in the Knolls make sure you do. The house is on Katherine between Casa Grande and Clear Springs Roads. They were last year’s winners of our December Holiday Decorating Contest and they certainly know how to decorate. So if you leave the Knolls the other way change your route and you will be in for a very spooky surprise!!!
Holiday Decorating Contest
Inspired by out creative Knolls residents who dazzled our nights last year with their beautifully decorated homes our Susana Knolls HOA Board will again award prizes for the Grandest and Greatest decorators. Only the outside of the house will be judged. The decorators need to be finished by Saturday, December 17th. Judging will be done on Sunday, December 18th at night so make sure all of your lights are on!
Please let your neighbors know about the competition as some people may not receive our Newsletter or emails. If you see any amazing houses email us at susanaknollshoa@roadrunner.com and let us know the street. We don’t want to miss any houses when we are judging!
Our Grandest Prize winner will receive $100 and the two Greatest Prize winners will each receive $50. The competition is open to anyone who lives in the Knolls.
A Message from Ventura County Public Health (VCPH)
Ventura County Public Health (VCPH) wants Ventura County to become the healthiest county in the nation by 2030. To help make that vision a reality, VCPH is launching the Lead, Walk, Talk campaign (#HealthyVC2030). Lead to inspire others. Walk to stay active. Talk to ensure a healthy future. They are also seeking community input via an online survey for the next community health assessment and improvement plan. Please take 2-3 minutes to complete a quick survey in English or Spanish.

Remember to vote on Election Day – November 8th. Polls are open 7 AM–8 PM. If you’re in line by 8 PM, you’re allowed to vote. Check the sample ballot you should have received by now for the location of your polling place. For most of the Knolls residents the polling place is the former firehouse at Cypress and Katherine. If you don’t vote you don’t get to complain. :)
Help us keep the Knolls Informed
Help us reach everyone in the neighborhood. Talk to your neighbors about sending us their email address so we can add them to our neighborhood list. We keep the list private (really!) and do not share the email addresses with anyone. We also only send out information about the neighborhood — no spam.
